I’d really like to be able to say that the avalanche of data center outages that seemed to have cropped up over the last month were all the result of some sort of unique sets of circumstances, a veritable perfect storm of situations that caused failures for some very high profile players ranging from Amazon to Netflix and Salesforce.com. Unfortunately, I can’t. And that really highlights a fairly consistent problem in the data center business.
